PGA Championship golf course to host 2nd annual FC Wisconsin Golf Outing

Whistling Straits Irish course to host top club in the state

Germantown,WI March 17, 2015:  FC Wisconsin is excited to announce its second annual golf outing and auction will take place at arguably one the greatest golf courses in the world, the PGA Championship Golf Course Whistling Straits in Kohler WI .  Whistling Straits golf course has hosted the 2004 and 2010 PGA Championships and the 2007 US Senior Open.  This year Whistling Straits will host the 2015 PGA Championship and will be the site of the 2020 Ryder Cup.

The FC Wisconsin Golf Open event will take place on May17th with a shotgun start at 1.00pm.  All golfers are encouraged to get there around 12.00 noon to hit a free bucket of golf balls.  “We couldn’t be more excited to host our second annual event at one of the top golf courses in the world.  This is an amazing opportunity for our club as it continues to grow and rebuild.  To secure Whistling Straits just months before this year’s PGA championships is extremely exciting. We are proud to be able to offer such a great and unique opportunity to our membership as well as all avid golfers in Wisconsin.”– echoed the DOC’s from FC Wisconsin.

Those choosing not to golf are also welcome to attend the dinner and Auction portion of the event which will be held in the Irish Barn on the campus of Whistling Straits starting at 5.00pm.  Lastly, those choosing not to golf could arrive and just enjoy a day at the spa. The spa will be open all day for those wishing to be pampered before dinner and auction.
