Rohde led the conference in save percentage (.815) and shutouts (6.2) during his senior campaign. He wrapped up his career with 12 shutouts, fourth-most in program history.
Rohde is currently the UW-Whitewater Men’s Soccer Assistant Coach and Goalkeeping Coach and in the past two seasons has helped the program attain a 28-9-5 record, making the 2nd round of the NCAA National Tournament in successive seasons.
“We are extremely excited to have Josh back on staff, and look forward to him along with Coach Adlard helping our current goalkeepers to continue to improve and develop to play at the next level. Having coached Josh, I personally know what a hard working, driven and committed individual he is and his overall work ethic and knowledge will be an immense asset to the club. Josh is well thought of by all our current goalkeepers and within the Wisconsin Goalkeeping community and we welcome him back to the FC Family” said Co-DOC Ben Shepherd.
“I am absolutely thrilled to be returning home, as I call it (FC Wisconsin) and grateful of the opportunity to work again with former coach Ben Shepherd and Billy Solberg. What the club is doing, creating, and developing is absolutely first-class and professional. The atmosphere created and cultivated with the relationships from players to coaches and coaches to players is just another crucial detail that is captured and valued at the club. I am thrilled to be returning to FC Wisconsin to work with the goalkeepers, the staff, and the rest of the club. The club does a fantastic job at developing young players, but they also do a fantastic job at developing young coaches. The club truly embodies development at all levels”
Josh will start with immediate effect and help prepare our Goalkeepers for post-season play.
Welcome back Josh!!
